The awesome and resourceful Ruby-Slippered Sisterhood’s blog has been featuring members of my Golden Heart finalist class (The Dragonflies) starting last month and up to RWA Nationals in July. An FYI for those who do not know, the Ruby-Slippered Sisterhood is the Golden Heart finalist class of ’09. Each class names itself and decides as a group how they wish to organize. Some stick with online discussion boards while other classes have created blogs and websites. The Dragonflies are still figuring out what we want to do in the future. For now, our attention has mostly been on the conference next month.
Elisa Beatty recently interviewed me and I spoke about the birth of my first novel and what inspired me to complete it. I hope you’ll come check out the interview. I asked those who commented how they found the motivation to complete their second book. Their responses have been quite enlightening and helpful.
I’ve been a bit quiet on my blog but am planning to take several pictures at Nationals and post about the experience. Stay tuned! We are just under six weeks!
